I really think Carolina was a good leader.

She was.

She cared about her team, she got the job done, she tried to make sure everyone came home safe, and she was the best. She knew that.

Then Tex comes in. And Carolina is just… lost. Because she’s never lost never she just can’t lose. But she did.

And then she becomes reckless. She starts pushing herself to get back on top because she can’t lose she has to be respected she can’t lose. And in doing so, she puts her team in danger. She just loses their respect even more.

And I think as time goes on and she loses everyone, she realizes her mistake. She realizes what she put them through. And she realizes that what happened was her fault because she got caught up in some stupid competition. Because she was forced into that competition.

And she hates the Director for it.

But she hates herself more.
